Application Requirements for the Second Cycle of the Khaled Khalifa Award for Novel:
The second cycle is directed to all citizens of Arab countries.
- The applicant must be submitting their first novel.
- The applicant must hold an Arab country nationality.
- The novel must be written in Arabic.
- There are no age restrictions.
- There are no residency restrictions.
Timeline:
- Applications open on January 1, 2026.
- Applications close on March 15, 2026.
- The short-list will be announced in mid-July 2026.
- The winner will be announced at the beginning of September 2026

- Applications are submitted by filling out the following form and sending it along with the novel in PDF format only via the following email: apply@khaledkhalifaaward.org.
Award Details:
- The award includes a monetary prize for the winner and the publication of the winning novel with a well-known publishing house.
